  6. Q6What should I do if I want to order fewer parts than I quoted?

    Once you’re ready to proceed with an order from a quote, please ‘check / tick’ the items you would like to order. The ‘unchecked / unticked’ items will not be ordered.

  7. Q7I’ve requested for a quotation and the part number shows up in red. What does this mean?

    It means that there is an error with that item. It could be lead time error or part number error.

    You may refer to the error message and correct the part number if it is a part number error.

  8. Q8I would like to request for printed catalogs. Can I do this on the MISUMI website?

    We have fully uploaded all our products to our eCatalog. Hence, we have ceased to provide hardcopy printed catalogs.

  9. Q9Can I view eCatalog page of my item from the Quote / Order screen?

    You will be able to view the item page by clicking on the part number link after you have completed the quotation/order.

    Please check and verify the specifications before you proceed to order/quote.

  10. Q10Where do you enter a shipping account number, if available?

    We do not have a function for entering a shipping account number.
    You may inform our customer service via our Online Inqury Form.

    Kindly provide your full company name and address, order number (if applicable) when contacting our customer service.

  11. Q11Does the site suggest parts based on others which are in the order?

    No, the site does not have a cross-selling function to suggest other parts, however, it will suggest a possible part number in the event that an invalid Part Number has been detected.

  12. Q12What if you need more than one quantity quoted at one time?

    You may quote for multiple quantities for the same part number in 1 quotation.

  13. Q13What payment methods are accepted?

    For customers based in Singapore, we accept cheque payment, Credit Card, PayPal or PayNow.

    For customers not based in Singapore, we accept Bank transfer, Credit Card or PayPal. All bank charges will be borne by customer for payment via bank transfer.

  14. Q14Can I order an item not listed in your Catalogs?

    If you would like to order our product in a size/version not listed in our Catalogs, please send us a request with the necessary information (e.g. specifications, brand, item description, quantity, special requirements, drawings, etc.) via our Online Inquiry Form.

  15. Q15I have a part number from another manufacturer. Can you cross-reference it?

    You may provide us with the details via our Online Inquiry Form for us to check with our technical team.

  16. Q16How long does it take to get a quote?

    A16

    Quote will be sent to you immediately once you have generated the quotation on our website. The PDF Quotation will also be available in your account upon completion of quotation.

    For Customized items, it will take about 3 working days.

  17. Q17How do I request a quote online?

    Please go to MISUMI website and log in with your Login ID and password. You can then click on "Quote / Order" icon and click on "Quote" to start generating a quotation.

  18. Q18How do I place an order? Is there a special form to use?

    Please go to MISUMI website and log in with your Login ID and password. You can then click on "Quote / Order" icon and click order to start your ordering process on our Web Ordering System.

  19. Q19I did not get an SO Confirmation for my order. How can I make sure that my order has been processed?

    You should receive our SO Confirmation on the same day if your PO is received during our business hours.

    Sending of Order confirmation maybe delayed in the case of lead time error or over credit limit issues.

    You may also view the status of your order in your WOS account. You may view this Online Video Tutorial for more information on how to view the status.

    If you do not get your SO Confirmation the same day, please contact Customer Service Team at (+65) 67337211. DO NOT send your order again to avoid duplicate orders.

  20. Q20I configured the part numbers on your site, but the quotation says they are incorrect part numbers.

    If you are using the numbers used in the CAD file you downloaded, (E.g. SFJ10_120 or MISUMI_lsrc_r40) replace "_" with "-“. The phrase "MISUMI_" should also be deleted (E.g. SFJ10-120 or LSRC-R40).

    We advise that you save the correct part numbers that you configure in "My Components" to avoid these mistakes, rather than saving the part numbers in your CAD application software.

  21. Q21What is "Minimum Quantity Surcharge"?

    At any one time, a charge is incurred if the ordered quantity does not meet the required minimum ordered quantity. This charge is only applicable to certain products. Kindly refer to each product page or quote / order request for more details.
