Product Overview of Flat Hinges
Flat Hinges,This series of products are butterfly Flat Hinges for heavy objects, which can reach an allowable load of up to 90KG depending on the dimensions (the value when using 2 pcs)
The product is made of stainless steel, and there is no hole in the product body. It is fixed to the object by welding. The fixed object must be kept flat and clean to avoid poor welding.
Product Feature of Flat Hinges
Butterfly Flat Hinges for heavy objects can achieve high allowable loads, and when used with high-hardness bolts,
they can reach a load capacity of up to 90KG (the value when using 2 pcs).
It is recommended to use only two products for each door. Multiple products cannot achieve the effect of increasing the load. At the same time, multiple hinges will cause other interference problems caused by insufficient center-axisstraightness of the hinge.

Butterfly Flat Hinges can't increase the allowable load by adding more products. On the contrary, during installation, it is easy to cause eccentric load due to the fact that three center axes can not be on the same horizontal line at the sametime.
It is easy for the door panel to be in a non-displacement state when standing still.

- Question: What is the difference between welded hinges and ordinary hinges? What needs to be paid attention to in the selection?
- Answer: Welded hinges are fixed by electric welding or heat welding. Unlike ordinary hinges which need to be fixed by screws and nuts, objects to be fixed can also be welded. In addition, please pay attention to the hinge surface width when selecting, and do not exceed the width of the fixed object, otherwise the allowable load may not be reached.
- Question: What are the effects of bolts with different head shapes on hinge opening and closing?
- Answer: Depending on the height of the bolt head, the exposed height of the bolt may be too high when the hinge is at 0°, which will lead to the failure of the hinge to open and close from 180° to 0°. For the specific calculation, you may refer to the E value in the specification table, which is the value of the circumferential radius. If the hinge needs to reach 0°, the total height of the exposed part must be less than the E value.
