Are you having trouble with conversion procedures and the selection of tools to be used?

This page provides an easy-to-follow explanation with videos and images for the finish.

Conversion procedures

Procedure 1 Bead removal

Tips

Grind quickly with grinding power grit size. If the beads are less than 1mm across, grinding with a #150 is OK.

[Appropriate Rotational Speed]
Rotational speed should be between 6,000 rpm and 12,000 rpm.

Procedure 2 Smoothing

Tips

This is to prevent scratching after finishing. Twice the grit size of the disc used in bead removal should be used as a guide.

[Appropriate Rotational Speed]
The rotational speed should be between 6,000 rpm and 12,000 rpm.

Procedure 3 Glazing (intermediate finish)

Tips

This process is essential for a beautiful finish. It also shortens the working time and reduces "distortion" caused by "heat." Particularly effective when the object is a thin plate.

[Appropriate Rotational Speed]
The rotational speed should be between 3,000 rpm and 5,000 rpm.

Procedure 4 Mirror finish

Tips

"White Bar" is best for stainless steel, aluminum, and chrome plating, and "Blue Bar" is the optimal choice for brass, castings, forgings, and precious metals.

[Appropriate Rotational Speed]
The rotational speed should be between 3,000 rpm and 8,000 rpm.
