Diamond saw blades are used to cut concrete, stones like granite, tiles and so on that cannot be cut with resinoid grindstones and circular saw blades. They use artificial diamonds for industrial use and can cut rigid materials relatively easily. However, diamond saw blades are susceptible to heat and are therefore not suitable for cutting metals that reach high temperatures due to frictional heating.
