Power Management

Power management parts are the devices and corresponding optional products that are used for measuring, collecting and analyzing data about the amount of used power. Equipment and devices effective for power management include power meters, power monitoring equipment and transmitters for the measured and collected data. Power meters not only have a function for measuring the amount of power, but can also output the measured data using a communication line or USB interface. Power monitoring equipment are comprised of devices for managing demand values. In addition to power amount display and output functions, they have a function for issuing an alert or outputting a load control signal if the power exceeds the set value. The optional products include split-type transformers, various wireless units, and software for collecting, analyzing and managing measurement data. A split-type transformer is used in combination with a power monitor to enable the individual power amounts of a power distribution board to be measured.
