Installation Precautions
- Attach to smooth surfaces, avoiding any uneven or rough areas.
- Use alcohol to remove dust, oil and moisture from the adherend then wipe dry with a waste cloth. Do not use thinner.
- Affix the double-sided tape immediately after removing the backing. Avoid repositioning.
- Double-sided tape adhesion weakens in low temperatures, so heat the double-sided tape and the adherend with a heater before applying (recommended temperature for application: 23°C).
- Press firmly down on the double-side tape immediately after mounting to make sure it adheres completely (recommended force for application: 70 N/cm2).
- Full adhesive power is not fully demonstrated immediately after application, so do not apply load by storing blueprints and instruction manuals (recommended time: 3 hours or more).
