Precautions

Warning

  • Do not use the cylinder as a shock absorber. Using the cylinder as a shock absorber will cause the cylinder to break.

Caution

  • Do not open the cushion valve excessively. Excessive rotation of the cushion valve in the opening direction (counter-clockwise) may result in the valve slipping out or the mating threads becoming too short and/or breaking.
  • Contact SMC if the knuckle joint must be installed on the piston rod using the rod end nut. Do not put adhesive tape or other objects on the painted surface.
  • The paint on the CS cylinder is dried naturally, so it may peel if tape or other objects are placed on it.
