Power Cords

Power supply cords are attached to electrical and electronic appliances and supply power from the power outlet to the appliances. The rated voltage of power supply cables is 600 V and higher, whereas power supply cords have a rated voltage of 300 V. Power supply cords include cords with insulation caps to prevent fires caused by arc tracking, cords that supply power from the cigarette lighter in a car, cords integrated with serial ATA data cables, and more. They are mainly used in connecting servers, computer and auxiliary equipment to the power outlet. Power supply cords are also used for providing AC power to prewired raceways by connecting to the feed box and are available in various types according to application. Cords are mainly made of PVC, polyethylene, fluoropolymer, etc.
